Bronton was a warrior whom Spartacus recalled in a memory. He was described as a 'hulking warrior'. During the winter, Spartacus and a group of fellow Thracian soldiers were preparing to ambush a Getae camp. Before they have a chance to defend themselves, a group of Getae, hidden in the forest, attack, one throwing an axe at Broton. While the axe didn't kill him, Broton was unable to respond fast enough, and was killed early in the battle.
