Correus is a Rebel under the command of Spartacus.
Correus possesses an athletic build and has short, cropped black hair with light facial hair. Correus is similar to many other's in the Rebel army, wearing a unique helmet and wearing a set of makeshift amour. He also proves himself a skilled fighter with sword and spear on the battlefield.
War of the DamnedEdit
When the Rebels are trapped between Crassus' wall and his army, Spartacus leads a daring nighttime surprise attack on the imperator's camp in an effort to kill Crassus himself. He commands that only a small force consisting of "only the most skilled among us" accompany him in the attack. Correus is among this group, indicating that he is a veteran soldier and expert warrior in Spartacus' army. When the attack on Crassus' camp is revealed to be a Roman trap, Correus is forced to fight his way out of the Roman position.
When Spartacus and Crixus eventually decide to take Separate Paths, Correus chooses to stay with Spartacus as opposed to joining Crixus on the war path toward Rome. In the tribute games for Crixus' death, Correus is seen many times sitting in the front row as he enjoys the contests.
When Castus returns from scouting to announce the arrival of Crassus' army, Correus is seen riding alongside him.
In the final battle Correus fights in the Rebel cavalry under Gannicus' command and together with Saxa turns the Roman ballistae upon Marcus Licinius Crassus' own positions. He fights well but is killed alongside Pleuratos and others.
- The name Correus is of Celtic origin. Julius Caesar mentions by that name a leader of the Bellovaci tribe of the Belgic Celts in his Commentarii de Bello Gallico.
