Adherbal is a pirate under the command of Heracleo.
Character Outline[]
Adherbal is a large, muscular pirate with long black-dreaded hair. He appears the largest of the pirate crew and silently carries out the orders given by Heracleo. He fights with two strange looking swords.
War of the Damned[]
Adherbal enters the city of Sinuessa en Valle with Heracleo, Castus and Tryphon with a gift of wine as Heracleo attempts to negotiate an agreement with Spartacus.
When the negotiations are brought outside the city, the pirates and rebels meet to discuss terms. Just as things grow sour, Roman soldiers attack their position, ultimately bringing the two groups together. Adherbal slays many Romans as the common foe is defeated.
Following the alliance of the Rebels and Pirates, Adherbal makes several raids alongside his fellow crew on several ships across the sea, procuring much needed supplies for the rebels.
Heracleo and his Pirates eventually make a deal with Marcus Licinius Crassus, thus betraying Spartacus. Adherbal is among the surviving crew following the fight with the Rebels and remains at Heracleo's side, likely becoming his new right-hand man after Tryphon is killed and Castus is missing.
As Heracleo is granted a lot of coin and Laeta from Crassus, Adherbal accompanies Heracleo in the city as he brands Laeta as his slave. They are, however, interrupted by the arrival of Gannicus and Sibyl. Gannicus desires vengeance for his fallen comrades and engages in battle with Heracleo in the pirates. Adherbal fights alongside his comrades but is overcome by Gannicus' skill and is cut down by the former gladiator.
