Lucy Lawless was born Lucille Francis Ryan, on March 29, 1968.

She first created that role on the show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys in 1995. She also appeared in the TV series Battlestar Galactica and had a role in the movie Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler. In 2011 she starred as Lucretia in the series and its prequel, Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, respectivly. She also appeared as Lucretia in Spartacus: Vengeance.
