Marisa Ramirez is the actress who portrayed Melitta in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.

Personal lifeEdit

Marisa grew up in Los Angeles, California, and went to an all girls Catholic school, Ramona Convent Secondary School. At thirteen she entered modeling.

In 2002, she got married to her husband, Nathan Lavezoli, but the couple divorced nine years later in 2011.

Acting CareerEdit

Her acting career began at fifteen, acting in commercials. Her first television role was a one time role on the "General Hospitals" spin-off, Port Charles.

In 2002, she got her first recurring role, returning to General Hospital and remaining there for the remainder of the year.

For the next several years, she had several roles ranging in size, including a spot on "The Young and the Restless" and her first spot in a movie in "Hitch".

In 2011, she was cast in the role of the wife of Oenomaus, Melitta, in the mini-series, Gods of the Arena.

After her role, she has held several long term roles in television, including her current role as Det. Maria Baez in the CBS hit, Blue Bloods.
