The Old Arena served Capua as a battleground for gladiators, before construction of the new arena.

AboutEdit

This arena featured in Gods of the Arena as the original arena before the Capua Arena was constructed. During this season there was mention of a new arena under construction which was to be funded by Tullius.

The old arena was very small in comparison and was made mostly out of wood. Due to the small size the spectators were very close to the action which meant they were in danger of getting hit by weapons during battle. One spectator lost the tips of his fingers by the swing of a sword, another fell onto the sand during the fight between Crixus and Auctus.
