Blood and SandEdit
Trebius is first seen selling a group of six slaves in the marketplace, among them being Segovax, Duro, and Agron. Lanistas Vibius and Solonius made offer, but ultimately Batiatus offered one hundred denarii for the entire slave lot.
Much later, in his search to find Naevia, Crixus receives information that Trebius was responsible for selling her off to another man. Crixus and his fellow rebels track Trebius to a brothel, where they interrupt him just as he's urinating on a terrified-looking girl and about to force her to have sex with him. Unfortunately for Crixus, Trebius is stabbed in the stomach by the young girl he was about to rape before he can interrogate him.
Trebius knows he's dying and refuses to give Crixus any information, however, Crixus tells him that he can either die quickly or very slowly, and with that we see Crixus begin to slowly pull out his internal organs...
Crixus later reports that he obtained the information he desired, before Trebius finally expired.
- The Latin term for a slave merchant was Mercatoriam Mancipium.
- Trebius may be related to the Gens Trebia. Little is known about them, but an estate located near the modern town of Arcola in Liguria, norther-western Italy, appears to have been named for them.
